Inside Sales Representative
Verari Systems, Inc. is the premier developer of powerful, flexible, and scalable platform-independent blade computing systems that are defining a new era in high performance utility computing for the enterprise data center is seeking a full time Inside Sales Representative.
Scope and Responsibilities
Responsible for a full range of Verari system Products and Service in the corporate market.
• Must be able to identify and qualify sales opportunities
• Apply knowledge of customers business and establish
a value proposition that results in sales.
• Pre sales activity includes, but not limited
to identifying target customers
• Provide marketing materials and roadmaps, Sales
Quotes, RFQ proposals, technical responses.
• Aid and assist AM on appointments, account strategies
(Blue Sheets), forecasts, monthly reports, Quarterly
Business Reviews and following up on AM activity and
progress.
• Responsible for establishing new customer contacts
and improving account depth, coverage and customer relationships.
• Assist in Verari Product Standardization efforts
and implementation.
• Achieve Verari contribution and product mix
objectives
• Provide sales territory support and business
management.
• Plays critical role in implementation of Verari
coverage model
• Directly support 3-5 Outside AM or Channel Partners/Agents
• Post PO responsibility including order supervision
until shipment. This includes closing orders by obtaining
purchase orders and OS configurations, confirming and/or
establishing payment terms and credit.
• Confirming validation of orders with engineering, communication
issues and requirement to scheduling production, Systems
Engineering and shipping, along with facilitating inter
company communication on Sopportunities and issues
Experience and Requirements
• 5 years minimum of relevant experience
• Knowledge of commercial and/or public sector
technology environments
• Solutions oriented, ability to work on a large
and culturally-diverse global account team
• Ability to be effective within complex customer
and partner organizations
• Outstanding communication skills,
• Thrive within a fast moving multitasking environment
• Keen understanding of mission-critical computing
engagements
• Experience with selling Unix, Microsoft, and/or
Linux servers, and the associated software stack is
preferred.
• Technical knowledge of Unix, servers, data center
infrastructure, data storage, integrated software stacks,
web services, Java and edge computing.
• Basic working knowledge ERP system (Everest),
Outlook, Office, Siebel CRM (Upshot) and TEAM.
Education
• Desire a BS, MS degree in Business, Computer Science, Communications, Marketing or Engineering.
