Account Manager, Financial Services - New York

Scope and Responsibilities

Responsible for sales of a full range of Verari Systems Products & Services to financial services prospects and clients. This position is in NYC


Experience and Requirements

• Past employment with a major server or storage manufacturer or reseller (direct sales).
• Ideal candidate will have strong selling experience in the following areas: Wintel servers, Blade server    technology, enterprise storage solutions, VMware and infrastructure management software.
• Experience in one or more of these software solutions: server consolidation, storage consolidation, desktop    consolidation, high availability and virtualization.
• Must have strong domain experience in the issues selling to the financial services and/or brokerage industry.
• 5+ years of outstanding & proven sales skills and track record.
• Outstanding verbal & written skills.
• Self-starter.
• History of accurate and timely forecasts and pipeline management out 9 to 12 months.
• Must be willing to be a team player for both sales opportunities and sales support.
• Ability to manage the entire sales process, with assistance from HQ team.
• Continue relationships with existing contacts in territory.
• Continue relationships with various OEM, channel and software partners.
• Prefer candidates with book of business to start off to a fast start.
• Start building a new pipeline and closures expected within 3 – 6 months. Expectation of closing 2 – 3 new    clients per quarter.
• Maintain and build new long-term business relationships, not sell and move on.
